i5 and 16gb of ram or
i7 and 8gb of ram
Otherwise the two models seem to be identical
(my options are limited because these are the ones available to me with acceptable payment conditions)

If the i7 is ram upgradable, get the i7 8gb, and upgrade when you can afford it.
If ram upgrade is not an option, get the i5.
