I still don't get how the creators of Aang though Korra would be likable in any way.
@alyx They were high on their own supply from the success of Avatar and the push towards gay jewish globohomo was picking up speed at the time(Hollywood is completely run by jews). Rather than making a character at all, they simply created a Feminist Golem and of course later they pushed lesbianism.

Only thing I remember from watching korra was that there was a side character with a nasty girlfriend and the running joke seemed to be "This guy is in an abusive relationship, isn't that funny?"

If the nasty girlfriend is by chance Asami, apparently she somehow turns Korra lesbian and shack up by the end of it. Don't ask me how, I have no clue either.
