@a1ba There was a time when a Half-Life movie sounded like an interesting prospect, though one that was bound to be at best as good as the Resident Evil movies.
Then came the period of time when it was clearly a bad idea, so I just didn't want it.
Now I live in an era where am I deeply terrified of the possibility of this happening. Please, for the love of all that is holy, please don't do this... Please Valve, Gaben... please protect Gordon Freeman from Amazon, Netflix and Hollywood. Don't let them rape my boy!

@alyx it's fun that after many video game adaptations in 00s, they're still doing them in 20s.

not all of them are bad, but... they're all weird

@a1ba I think it's a consequence of the medium.
I think games are the next stage of art after movies. So adapting a game to a movie is like adapting a movie to a book. It cannot translate well, because a game can do things that a movie can, just like a movie can do things that a book can't.
