The apartments they built in 60s and 70s 80s had soul in this ocean village. Now they build minimalist structures without soul, doesn’t even seem it’s meant for humans to live in. The apartments and houses they build here now look like prison facilities

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that the picture on the right is from a former communist country.
There's like 1 big McDonald's place in my town, built somewhere late 90s, early 2000s, and it looks pretty much like that on the outside. Different colors, but same general idea.

@alyx in this city every new building is built like the modern McDonald's. Every single one. And the buildings used to be southern Spanish beach houses and apartments. You know the white ibiza style of 60s, or 70s LA style Spanish architecture
