I've seen the same headline for a decade. Unless that chip is the size of a high end CPU and a high end GPU put together (which would be problematic for cooling) and you have GDDR system memory, these claims are simply not true and they will never be true.

I assume this is instead of a mobile RTX 5050 or something of the sorts. Strix Halo certainly is impressive as it effectively has the same amount of parts as an RX 7600, just in a power limited format (and most likely memory is a bit slower than dedicated GPUs have internally). The pricing is a bit painful when marketing it to a gaming crowd though (the laptops probably cost three times as much just to achieve the same performance), and cooling is a bit tough even when you've got a laptop trying to pull at least 70W.

Also given that people are rumouring a 52* core Nova Lake CPU...I'm going to doubt the rumour until it actually happens, especially with the mis-predictions that Arrow Lake was going to have 8+32 core configs (it didn't) and half the power usage (it's more like 15% more efficient).
