I'll be honest, I don't know what the fuck everyone investigated before and what they didn't. But I always got the impression that pre-2025, the camera talk was specifically regarding cameras that looked at Epstein cell directly, that were aimed straight at him, and monitored his every move, and only those cameras.

When what's-his-name said he looked at footage, while I haven't heard him specifically say what cameras and where these cameras were places, I get the impression that he's talking about a camera, or cameras, that only track the hallway. From such a camera, you wouldn't be able to see what Epstein did, at all. But you could be able to see if anyone approached or went into his jail cell.
I haven't seen the new FBI guy say he saw Epstein kill himself on footage, but I saw him say nobody went into the cell, and he concludes that Epstein killed himself because there's no alternative left.

My personal opinion: I don't have any particular reason to think anyone went into his cell to strangle him, BUT, if you sabotage the cameras, if you "accidentally fall asleep", and just in general allow for circumstances that enable Epstein to kill himself... I think there's some culpability there. This is where the conspiracy lies imo.

And we've seen with other cases before, that if someone encourages a person to commit suicide... we don't treat that case as suicide, we understand it as a form of murder at some point.

The reality is, the police officers on duty that day had a duty to NOT allow Epstein to kill himself. Instead, I believe that they, or potentially someone else, created circumstances that enabled and encouraged Epstein to off himself. But when your duty is to do the exact opposite, I'd call this murder.

@alyx @Breaking911 they're not allowed to have cameras in jail cells for privacy. im sure the same rule exists in the US as it does here. but they have little windows in the doors they are supposed to check sporadically a couple times during a 2 hour period every 1-2 hours on a schedule that isn't able to be memorized. i haven't downloaded the full video footage but if they aren't doing that they are 100% culpable but because of who it was nobody will see charges

I think privacy is probably thrown out the window when you're put on suicide watch, as Epstein was.

@alyx @Breaking911 maybe, i don't know the laws and i will never claim to but all of what we've been told is bullshit. all of it
@A39IsTOZ8SJIr2oM2y.graf@poa.st @alyx @Breaking911 I've heard of a camera being used for suicide watch, but it failed, as the imprisoned managed to choke herself with a sheet unnoticed.
@alyx @graf @Breaking911 I don't know much about prison, but in the military suicide watch is a 100% monitoring situation. No shoelaces, no bedsheets, and people wake you up every 2 hours to make sure you're alive.
