It's fucking impossible to do anything through the NHS these days.
> Saw my doctor about something back in April
> Says he needs to refer me to a specialist for the issue I'm having
> Requested I send him some paperwork of mine that he doesn't have
> Call up the practice next week
> They say they already have the paperwork on the system
> ?
> Says to expect a call from the specialist in the next few days
> Two months go by
> I finally get a call from them in June
> Earliest available appointment is in August
> Get another call in July
> "Actually we don't have any doctors in on that date we booked you in for"
> ??
> Currently rebooked for September
This is purely a preliminary appointment, by the way. At this rate, it'll have been almost six months since I went to a doctor before I can even *talk* about getting treatment, let alone actually getting treated.
