True. But I'm sure that if children spent 8 hours a day in front of a Picasso painting parents would be just as concerned.

@moonman
I'm spending way too much time in front of a phone screen. Would I be hypocritical if I recognize it's harm and tried to limit my kids from doing the same?

I've had a PC since I was 10. You really think I'd stop my kids from over using the latest tech because of contempt, or maybe it's because I have enough experience to know that as soon as they get the latest phone/tablet/console/etc. they'll stop interacting with the real world.

I understand that kids wouldn't understand their parent's intents on these issues. What I don't understand is why a grown ass man doesn't get it.

I still find it silly that they felt the need to put that, but it's a much better way of handling things than to try to erase the history that you don't like.

Isn't that satiric? Android 9 offers a feature called "private DNS". And guess what 95% of all tutorials describe? How to set that up with the DNS servers of Google and Cloudflare.

Facepalm.

Why it's called *PRIVATE* then? Because the two are private companies (and not NGOs)? Then why do those articles say it's for better privacy? Something doesn't sum up here.

That feeling when someone follows you out of nowhere and you're not sure why...

Well... ok then...

@matrix
Maybe it should be a requirement. If we're lucky, it could distract the enemy long enough to snipe them.

@matrix
Holy fuck... Kudos to him for standing up for what he believes in.

@Jingles
I would guess you don't see TERF men is because there are not that many feminist men to begin with. And those that embrace feminism seem to do it because they're desperate for the attention of women, and they'd go to any extreme to get it. They don't care that the ideology they're following has internal contradictions as long as they get the attention.

No wonder I keep having problems with Fedilab crashing. It doesn't know when to stop apparently.

@matrix
I think there could be some truth to it. Atheists are more likely to be leftists, but not necessarily because there's something inherently leftist about not believing in supernatural beings. It's more because of what is usually associated with the right wing.

Anti-abortion, bigotry against LGBT, climate change denialism, attempts to force religion into schools etc. An atheist sees all of those positions as being motivated by religion, and since he left religion, he'll go almost automatically to whatever is opposed to that.

And once he reaches his new tribe, an atheist might be compelled to adopt most other left wing positions on the basis that it opposes the right wing, that he now strongly associates with religion.

And that's why I think an atheist is more likely to be on the political left.

@matrix
I'm less concerned that his opinion on GG is wrong, and more concerned that apparently they expect students to be void of their own opinions and ready to be indoctrinated with the professor's ideology. Just that article title/subtitle is the most terrifying thing in this pic for me.

You know... there's something I've never really done on social media... Don't think I'll make a habit out of it, but here's some lewds, just for the hell of it.
