Fun fact: because Orthodox Christians have a different way of calculating when Easter is, Romanias usually have a different day then Catholics (and every other sect of Christianity). And it's usually one week after everyone else.

I've heard Romanians say that Italian is actually close enough to our language that you're supposed to be able to understand most of it without needing lessons. Haven't really put it to the test myself. Might do it some day.

I've slowly switched away from a lot of popular services/platforms/apps over time. As long as the replacement serves the same purposes, doesn't miss any key feature (or I can't hack that feature through some other means), and it works well with other stuff I'm using, then usually not only will the switch be successful, but I'll end up loving the replacement a lot more than the original.

The only Japanese movie (not anime, but live action) I've seen so far was Shin Godzilla. While I don't think it was as exciting as American action movies, I found it was an interesting insight on how the Japanese see their government working in a time of crisis.

Is there a problem with you watching too much anime? Or are you starting to feel the need to watch something else?

The believability factor is less important imo as long as you manage to accurately convey to the audience what the character feels. Sure, eyes popping out of their orbits is not believable. But it does let someone know that the person is scared.

It finally happened. Igel learned so much Japanese, that there was no more space left in his brain for English. Now he only speaks German and Japanese.

Either you like the story or the general concept of the franchise, or you don't. I don't think changing mediums would solve much, unless the previous medium had some inherent limitations to it. And considering animated mediums usually are the ones less limited, I wouldn't think this would be a significant improvement.

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of open source engines for both of those games. You can basically do it yourself (although I'd wager someone might already have do some of the work).
