Call a straight guy "gay" and they're likely to take it as an insult. But if you called a gay guy "straight" would they be insulted?

In some ways, Islam is even more full of holes than Christianity. But it also has its own protection mechanisms that make it a lot harder to convince someone their religion is wrong, or once they become convinced to actually leave. And the worst part, unlike most Christian denominations today, most Islam variants are quite dangerous because they do basically promote conquering the world, aka doing war.

As far as I'm aware, the only religion that is growing in numbers are the Muslim, and even for them the rate at which they're turning atheist is the highest it's ever been historically, and increasing. They just have the advantage that they still multiply faster than people leave the religion.

Not even the mormans have that many kids anymore, and they still end up leaving the Church at high enough numbers to pose a threat for their future.

I wouldn't call it necessarily "racist" but bigotry towards people of other nations goes way back into the Old Testament. It's just a matter of how much each Christian denomination values the Old Testament in general.

@Terry @RUSHIFA @histoire @lewdthewides @HonkeyKong
They had to back paddle on that in recent years, and start accepting black people into the church, cause their numbers are dwindling, so beggars can't be choosers.

It's not like I didn't know that Romanian women are hot, but Lady Dimitrescu exceeds my wildest dreams.

@lewdthewides @RUSHIFA @Terry @histoire @HonkeyKong
Weren't the mormons the ones that used to say black people are black because they're extra sinful? But that if a black man was righteous enough, then god would whiten their skin.

@icedquinn
I'm honestly too tired right now to correct the stupid of not understanding the original news story.... but fuck it, here's the short version:
sulfate particles, that are indeed considered pollutants, have a known property of reflecting solar radiation back into space. It's why they've been proposed as a geoengineering solution to global warming. It's why massive volcano eruptions can cause a decrease in temperatures for a while.
But unlike CO2, these particles have a limited time that they remain in the air. Meaning if you stop producing them, in this case as a consequence of manufacturing pollution, after not that much time, you're gonna notice a bit more solar energy making it to the planet surface.

do you think you are an idiot?

@11112011
Technically I don't just "think", I KNOW... but yeah, I think "yes" is a good enough answer here.

If the real world was a game engine, what would it be?
