I find it hard to believe they haven't been talking much, since Vee literally has been writing articles for Sargon's Lotus Eaters site.
Is there something going on between Vee and Sargon lately? Trouble in paradise? I've noticed Vee recently put out 2 videos in which he disagrees with Sargon directly.
@colonelj you're the expert on Vee. Any insight on this?

I've found a couple of more anecdote type articles of couples that did choose not to do the necessary genetic testing before implantation. The ultimate problem is that those tests are optional. And "optional" usually translates to: pay more money.
I'm sure the tests would greatly reduce the chance of abnormalities, and I've also seen articles suggesting this. What I haven't seen though is an indication that most couples go through them, and that they're indeed willing to throw away all embryos that carry a condition at the risk of drastically reducing (or even eliminating) their chance at impregnation.

>yes, i think you can afford to be picky if you’re spending that much money
Lol, that's literally the opposite. You can't afford to be picky when you're spending a fortune. Imagine spending 20-30k and not getting anything in the end because you were picky, and have to try again, with another 20-30k that you don't have.
Maybe things changed, but the way I knew it was that each egg had a low chance of sticking to the womb, so they went with implanting several at once, precisely because the entire thing is expensive as fuck, and to ensure that the low probabilities of each egg combined leads as close as possible to a 100% chance that at least one sticks. (a cute side-effect is that this can lead to a higher chance of twins if you're lucky enough to get more than 1 egg to stick).
I doubt everyone is gonna go through all the tests anyway, because guess what: those are gonna cost money too. And yes, the IVF itself procedure does absolutely create more down syndrome (which I honestly wasn't even expecting).

At $20-30k you really think would be mothers can still afford to get picky? They literally have to implant 5-6 embryos in the first place to hope to get one to stick. You think anyone is stupid enough to reject any embryo b/c of genetic defects? Nah fam, this is an issue I've known about for years. They have any and every fertilized egg they can implanted, because they prefer an unhealthy child over the idea of wasting 30k.

How does horny posting help you nap?

@theblessing @Stellar @MisterRogersSnapped
Yeah, but at the same time the rate of children born with genetic defects has grown because of it. Once you've spend thousands of dollars you're not exactly gonna abort that down syndrome (or worse) baby.
@MisterRogersSnapped @Stellar
Yeah... I'd never do that. Even adoption is a better choice than that bullshit.
