I have issues every once in a while with my Manjaro, but lately it's never been something that could be traced back to KDE. Strange... Especially since Fedora is supposed to be more stable.

I've been using KDE5 since about 2017 I think. It was still unstable for a few years. I've only noticed in the last 1-2 years that it's rock steady for me.
Breeze isn't great, but there are better themes out there. And a lot of the good ones make use of Kvantum.

I've tried KDE4 once... it felt like people threw random things on the screen.
I haven't tried all DE. Not even close. I've seen Gnome2, KDE4, Gnome3, Unity, Cinnamon, xfce, lxde and KDE5. Only ones I actually liked were xfce and KDE5. My favorite so far and what I'm currently using, KDE5.

Haven't touched Gnome in close to a decade... basically I tried Gnome 3 for a few months when it first came out, then never used it ever again.
