I think the prospect of peace ended the second the woke twitter types got invested in the war. That's not him bullying. That's Cornbread being playful. Notice his relaxed posture, tail up, he isn't trying to make himself look big, no hissing from him. This isn't aggressiveness, it's just play fight.
Mystery cat on the other hand, definitely is not in the mood to play. The hissing alone is all the sign you need that he hands to be left alone... to be mysterious.
