@LukeAlmighty
Ambient occlusion is the first thing I disable, right next to motion blur.
Then shadows go down. After that, I go through everything else as needed.

@RUSHIFA
Maybe it's not the worst, but I used to have a frustrating reoccurring dream where I was playing Half-Life 1, but no matter how much I would shoot, I just couldn't manage to kill Vortigaunts. It would frustrate me more and more until I finally manage to wake up, being quite irrationally angry at that point.

Install Easy Effects, add an Equalizer to the effect chain, and load the preset downloaded from github.

@fuggy
Works fine with Easy Effects for Pipewire. I'm sure there's something you can use for Pulseaudio too.

I'd ask for a printed menu, and the second the waiter says "we don't have one", I'd instantly rise up from my chair and head straight for the exit.

@Terry
While people highlighting the media's hypocrisy is not wrong, I feel like people are missing the piece of context that the amount of dictatorial rule Chinese civilians have historically faced is much larger than "muh lockdowns". Their zero-Covid policy is a drop in the bucket of fucked up shit their government does to it's people.

For the Western world, covid lockdowns were THE event that displayed how authoritarian today's left wing governments truly are. For China, covid lockdowns are merely an event.

@thor
idk man, for something to be forbidden, it should either have a big risk of producing an injury, or be very expensive. For example, using a pin based CPU as an hair brush.

@thor
I have a hard time understanding why this would be a forbidden comb.
