Right now I see only 2 ways this can happen.

No, people definitely think she's hot, and it's definitely a part of why people are curious about her possibly assume leadership of NK.

TBH, unless Kim Jong-Un made/makes some clear mandate on who should succeed him, I rather thing North Korea might face a power struggle between military leaders. And family members of Kim Jong-Un, especially those who are close enough to try to assume the role of leader, might be seen as a threat and be disposed of.

Which why I said "anything close to respect". I know it's not exactly very close, but people still seem to like her more than any other North Korean ruler in recent history.

I wonder how North Korea feels about the fact that the world seems to welcome a possible rise to power of Kim Yo-Jong. Despite all their propaganda, this might be the only time the outside word has shown anything close to respect to a North Korean ruler.
