@Stridermcperson
Maybe meme magic has started working again... I wonder what this will mean for 2024.

@VD15
I ask myself that too sometimes... I try to remember how the hell I did things before I had internet... I think it was mostly going through every option, testing things out, experimenting, tweaking options to see what changes. In a way, it was a bit of a scientific process.
I also used to reinstall Windows about every 2 months, so I had a lot of opportunities to practice things.

You know what, I've made up my mind...
I'm gonna become the Hokage!

@matrix
I mean, what were you expecting them to do? You need to build up heat somehow...

>i think what i was amazed at is normally the sun is pretty dark on these and shoots out some flares, but it looked like the whole thing was more or less illuminated
From what I know, these satellites have a whole range of cameras that are set up in different ways, depending on what they want to study. The ones that study the sun for general solar activity and spots will be darker. The ones that study solar flares will basically be overexposed so you can make out the flares. I don't even think most of these even record in the visible light spectrum. I think it's usually x-ray or something like that.

@coyote
It's hitting 40C (104F) outside (under shade of course)... so yeah...
