Did you know that crowbars didn't exist prior to the release of Half-Life?

Today's dream featured 2 "classic" PCs:
- Pentium 2 PC with Windows 98 installed
- Pentium 3 PC with 512MB ram and 1GB SiS GPU, with a AMD cooler on the CPU, and Windows 98 as OS (although I was planning to put XP on it, mostly because I was having trouble getting the audio to work).

Also both systems had their own CRT monitor.

I don't usually post about an anime until I actually finish it, not while I'm just a few episodes in, but I find it so hilarious that I went from an anime with fan service for guys to an anime with fan service for girls (Free!).

Good show so far.

Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry quick review:
The fan service... omg the fan service...
Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but it does have some nicely done fan service, and it incorporates it rather well.

The story itself is the usual affair. The usual sword fights with magic mixed in, with a protagonist that supposedly lacks natural talent for the magic part, but with hard work, against all odds, he rises to the top.

Nothing fancy or particularly noteworthy, so it doesn't get more than 7/10 from me, but it is still good enough, that if you're looking for a short 12 episode anime, it gets a definitive recommendation.

Also, what I meant to say earlier, is that I would have hit ctrl + c when I realized I wasn't in the right directory, and only after that I would have changed directory.

@mian
I use btrfs with automatic snapshots. Even if I delete something by accident, it doesn't get truly deleted for about a week. That's on top of the usual backup to an external drive.

I usually instinctively do a ctrl+c whenever I realize I'm typing the wrong command

Don't know why you felt the need to tag me in. I hate manele.

BTW, the guy's name translates to Sandu Porridge.

Question for Mortal Kombat fans: does Jax have a daughter? Cause I just had a dream about her. She had the same trademark metal arms. Don't remember much else of the dream though.

If you play games with film grain or motion blur turned on, I'm afraid you're no longer my friend, you're my arch enemy.

@icedquinn
My only question for stuff like this is:
is it actually accurate and "lossless" (in that it will give you the exact same result each time you run it);
or is it a speed hack like Nvidia DLSS, that is not actually completely accurate, and it's a "lossy" guessing game of what the image should mostly look like if it were the real thing.

>that's a good thing!

On a serious note though, isn't there a recent mantra that says "free ram is wasted ram"?
