@Terry
Not entirely sure if this was the post, but I saw much earlier today a post showing that the screenshot it posted was fabricated.

@diresock
This should have had at least a dozen content warnings on it.

Can't believe I found this again. I used to love these, but apparently they unlisted the series. I was lucky to find this one in my favorites.

I knew about cold-brew coffee, didn't know about cold-brew tea. I guess that's what I get for not being a brit.
Now a different question comes into my mind: is coffee a tea?

@k1tteh
Doesn't tea have a similar problem though? Don't you need to heat the water, and then while the water is still warm, place the ingredients?

@k1tteh
Yes, but to become a soup, you first need to cook it. Right now you have the equivalent of putting a piece of beef in room temperature water. You need to raise the ocean temperature a bit, to cook everything in it.

So fedi doesn't believe in evolution, believes the Moon landing was faked, thinks Jews did 9/11 and they're trying to replace you, thinks vaccines were designed to kill you... am I missing something?
I'm unsure what fedi thinks about flat earth, but it doesn't seem like something people here believe.

I can't remember for sure who I heard the following theory first from (probably Timmy), but what ivermectin is likely to do is get rid of any parasites you might unknowingly have and it lets your body focus more of it's effort on fighting covid.

I haven't seen so far anything conclusive or convincing that ivermectin does anything substantial to the virus directly, but that reason above is more than enough to have it included in a treatment plan, just like they'll sometimes give you antibiotics and vitamins, to make sure your body has 100% of everything it needs and can focus on just fighting the virus.

@beardalaxy @icedquinn @Awoo
>boo hoo, it's hard work to get to god's fruit. I'll eat pig mush instead cause I'm lazy

@Awoo @icedquinn
Why should I calm down, when evil men are trying to poison the earth with their despicable fruit?!

Leaving spergings aside, I truly don't understand what people like in any of those. Oranges are the only ones that taste good to me, everything else feels like a cheap, flavorless, knock-off.

@icedquinn @Awoo
Fuck mandarins. I hate mandarins, clementine, tangerines, minneolas, I hate everything that isn't an orange.
Oranges are the holly fruit, and everything else is blasphemous and a blight upon this Earth.

@Awoo
I guess I'm a bit late, but try SteamOS for desktop (if you have AMD/Intel GPU). They say that you can get Nvidia working too, but it's "wonky".

>single frame
That's how it usually is.

>throw that down to an xorg/hlwm bug
Depends on what exactly you saw. It's not impossible, but unlikely unless you have multiple stuff that used the GPU at the same time. Like your DE, a game and a video playing via hardware decoding in the background.

If it's a whole screen glitch, it's likely a software bug or cable problem. If it's just the texture on a 3D model, or part of a model, that's usually the telltale sign of GPU misfiring.
