Best and most reasonable explanation I've heard so far for the Spain blackout.

Cool story bro.
So quick question, why are we allowing the CCP access to work on the biggest OS that powers so much of the western internet infrastructure?

Yup. Also completely invalidates their research and the whole purpose of these bots in the first place. They tried to argue that the bots were good at changing people's minds, but what they were doing in fact was reinforcing people's belief system.
But what can you expect from social scientists. They can't even formulate their experiments right.
@reddit_lies @maxmustermann Reminder that the AI bots were "changing" the minds of Redditors by using far-left rhetoric. Basically they programmed bots to be even more radical-left than Reddit is. Good job Zurich!
What they did was the equivalent of me going to a Poast user who says Jews control America, and telling them "no, you're wrong, Jews control the entire world!", and then the Poast user "changes his mind" and says "you know what, you're right, Jews do indeed control not just America, but the entire world".

Are you suggesting decades of feminism hasn't encouraged women to be just that?
@Alex @VD15 @Jens_Rasmussen @themilkman
Yes. This is pretty basic stuff. 6th grade, so about 12 years old stuff.

Whatever nation you're from then, has a shit education. This is not something hard to teach or understand, and it's not something you just forget once you understand. Doesn't matter how long ago you last had physics classes. It's been as long since I had them too. And I'm not some physics major either.
@Jens_Rasmussen @themilkman
I'm constantly stunned of how bad the American school system is. How do you not know this? @VD15 already posted the answer. It all depends on whether you tie them together in parallel or serial. In the picture, you see that the batteries are attached in serial, thus increasing voltage. 8*1.5v=12v.
@KK954 @BasedLunatic
You're literally just using different words to describe the same thing I said.
You don't go out on a three hour date with a fling. You meet him in a club or a pub, see that he's handsome and you immediately go and fuck him.
And I already mentioned about the guy on the left that he doesn't look like someone obsessed with lifting. To quote myself: "when they think about someone they want for a long term relationship/marriage, they will pick the guy on the left, who is still decently fit, but looks like he'll do other stuff with his life other than lifting weights, so he's more likely to be a good provider."
@icedquinn This is scary for how true it is. Jesus...
@LukeAlmighty
Before 2015, I consistently used to rewatch the original trilogies every couple of years at most. I don't think I've watched any of them since 2015. What Disney did just put me off from rewatching them anymore. Even if they put them in theaters here, I wouldn't go and give Disney money.

Modern li-ion batteries in modern tech get stressed out more than older ones.
Current li-ion are build with much smaller tolerances, at the edge of bursting out in flames by themselves (see Samsung Note 7), just so they can put as much energy in as small of a volume as possible.
And tech simply use up more power, drawing more amps during usage, and then you pump more amps during recharge, which also stresses out batteries far more. A smartphone can fast charge with multiple amps of power, while for maximum battery life you wouldn't want to push more than 500mA.
@BasedLunatic
The best explanation I've heard comes from women MRAs.
Basically, women are and aren't lying about this. When they're single, they're more likely to pick the guy on the right for a fling, a sexual escapade, whatever you want to call it.
But if they're in the mindset of settling down, when they think about someone they want for a long term relationship/marriage, they will pick the guy on the left, who is still decently fit, but looks like he'll do other stuff with his life other than lifting weights, so he's more likely to be a good provider.
It's basically a rehash of the old alpha/beta male thing. They'll fuck around with the bad boy "alpha", until they decide they want to settle down, at which time they pick a "beta" that is loyal, will provide for them, that may even raise children that aren't biologically his.
Something else to note, which I haven't seen anyone address yet, women's preferences change if they're on the pill. This has been studied. And I suspect it would influence women's behavior into picking the guy on the left, because the pill essentially tricks their body into thinking they're pregnant. So hormones are gonna force them into the "I need to settle down" mindset.
@VD15 I'd honestly just offer the guy a B+ on the spot, no need to take the exam, just for being that smart to do this.
