I'm getting closer and closer to giving up The Atheist Experience podcast. I've been following these guys for... shit, at least 6-7 years. But recently, their slow shift towards the woke left is annoying as hell.

Their last brilliant idea, was to start the show with a lady scolding the audience about how we pollute too much, and that we need to stop wasting paper, and how bad it is that we buy bottled water every time we leave the house, and so on.

1) You MORON, you're preaching to the choir. Why the fuck are you reprimanding the EXACT people who probably are already doing their part? How do you think you're gonna make them feel, when you still attack them like this? They're gonna say: fuck it, I can't do anything to please this bitch anyway, might as well pollute.

2) If you want to get people that don't buy into your alarmism to play along, you don't attract them by saying: "well it doesn't take much to do your part and help save the planet". We're talking about people that already don't believe all of this! Why would you think they'd put ANY effort to "save the planet"? If you had any intelligence in that skull of yours, you'd go for the economic angle. Tell people how they could save money by getting a reusable water bottle, and filling it at home before they leave, instead of admonishing them for daring to buy drinks in plastic bottles.

3) And THE BIGGEST blunder you could have done is invoke Greta Thumberdurken, and say "look how much good this girl is doing". You guys CONSTANTLY talk about how bad it is when religions indoctrinate and abuse children, so how the fuck do you miss when people on your side do the exact same thing? If you're gonna dare tell me she's doing this of her own volition, then I'm gonna tell you that every christian kid that "accepted Christ into his heart" also did it under their own volition, and I'll watch you squirm under your own hypocrisy.

Does anyone remember the trajectory of Elon Musk's space Tesla car?
I just realized that if that thing manages to leave the solar system, it could unironically be the most easily detectable (by aliens), interstellar probe that humanity has ever launched.
And if an intelligent alien species does get their hands on it, they might learn more about humanity from studying that car, than from a bullshit gold plated "vinyl" disc. (I'm looking at you Voyager probes).

(I would laugh my ass off if the play toy of a capitalist got us to make contact with intelligent life out there and not the efforts of government funded NASA).

>seeing a breadtuber unironically say that responding to comments criticizing him is beneath him.
This is going to be a long day...

Why the fuck are we getting thunderstorms during autumn this year?!

This kind of thing is basically why I'm not interested in water cooling. Even AIOs would technically need maintenance and replacement after a while. And the worst part of an AIO, is that you're not even able to see inside the loop if something goes wrong.
The only way to do water cooling right, is to do a custom loop, which would necessitate constant maintenance and praying that the pump doesn't fail, or that water doesn't leak and burn something.

Meanwhile, I've yet to witness a stock cooler air fan fail. I'm not even talking about some supreme after market master race cooler here. I'm talking about cheap stock stuff being more reliable and risk free.

So I watched the Snowden movie (BTW, if you value your time, don't. It was boring as hell. Almost stop halfway through the movie), and this morning I couldn't help but imagine that the sort of shit that was going on in the intelligence agencies is probably what is going on in the big tech firms too.

If the likes of CIA, NSA and the other alphabet organizations were autistic enough to not understand how fucked up they were behaving, what chances do tech firms, that do hire tons of people on the spectrum, have to understand human emotions and how evil their attempts at social engineering are?

I might end up at some point experimenting with pure Arch, but right now Manjaro has been such a good experience that I don't really have a reason to move away from it.

Thank you Ubuntu for providing a good environment so that I could transition away from Windows. But between the 32bit support shenanigans and the forcing Snap apps on people, I don't see myself ever visiting Ubuntu again in the future, or any of it's derivatives.

How... how the fuck has the world failed to learn anything from the communist hell holes of past (and present)?!

Did the West really only learn the lesson of nazism because it happened to them, because it threatened them for a while? And because communism didn't damage their societies they couldn't care less about what happened to the rest of us? So as a consequence they didn't learn anything from what happened here either.

Maybe the West deserves to be put in its place. Maybe they deserve to learn a hard lesson if they're so arrogant as to ignore the lessons of the past that we from Eastern Europe paid dearly to learn.

Thank fuck for EFAP. Right now, I don't think anything else has a chance to lower my blood pressure.

Day by day, I'm finding it harder and harder to uphold my principles and be able to honestly say that I would defend idiots like nazis and communists if someone tried to erase them of the face of the planet.

I don't see myself becoming violent or legitimately advocating violence against this new dangerous trend of communists, but I am starting to find it harder to see myself giving a crap if the tables turn against them in violent ways.

And I hate this feeling.

>communism starts by putting democracy in all parts of the society, including the economy, the companies, the medias etc

>it's not an enforcement of totalitarianism imo

Wow... Yeah, I'm sure the shoemaker was definitely put in power over a scientific institution by democratic means...

The french man is dangerously deluded at this point. I'm honestly considering banning his ass. (For context, I do need to specify that I also do ban insane Hitler sympathizers when I come across them).

>from an engineering POV, communism was very efficient in terms of quality
Communism, engineering and quality in the same sentence. Holly cow...

Someone give this man an HBO subscription so he can watch Chernobyl.

Apparently the middle class french man can't even afford HBO because of the ebil capitalism.

Imagine a french man, saying that capitalism doesn't work, when France is one of the most wealthy, influential, and powerful nation in the EU.

Unbelievable.

Funny enough, literally the only reason why they aren't doing even better, is because socialism is slowly encroaching in Western Europe, and has given rise to idiotic policies, like unlimited illegal immigration.

I'm kinda glad though, that my overall bad opinion of the french people was justified.

They seem to be indeed an arrogant bunch.
