I don't even find other people with the name Adolfus, it's apparently just Latin for Adolf

@xianc78 @orwell@nasface.cz Okay, I think they genuinly just translated his name to Latin on the document. Apparently it was a thing that people did. I've at least found some birth certs in Latin from around then. Obviously a religious thing

For records kept according to religious confession, you will find many are recorded in Latin for Roman Catholic, Greek Catholic, and Protestant churches with Polish, Ukrainian or Church Slavonic interspersed throughout the records, depending on geographical location.
