Do you guys buy #music CDs anymore or just digital?

I'm conflicted on buying CDs nowadays for my favorite bands because I feel I will run out of room to store them. It's difficult for me to decide. I still have some very old CDs from Slipknot, Meshuggah, Lamb of God, etc but they are collecting dust on my shelf.
:pepegethink: My digital music collection is pretty big because usually the guys on Youtube can't do physical releases. So I feel just switching to all digital.

@veru I buy some CDs at thrift stores often but lately it is hard to find anything beyond the most popular late-90's early-2000's mainstream stuff. But I do like having CD quality, I rip them and keep it on PC and also play them on my home stereo and in the car, and also use them to record to cassette because cassettes are fun too.

For modern bands and releases I think I pass CDs more often then not, because the lossless is usually easy to get from like Bandcamp or something, and lots of times modern vinyls or cassettes usually include a download these days too.

@arc@gameliberty.club OH MAN, CASSETTES! :tears: They are indeed very fun and I remember playing my dad's Elvis cassettes on the boom box. Technology is nice but those old cassettes were magical to me. Eventually, I got my own walkman to use them there. My younger brother by 9 years also has vinyls and a turntable! Guess the fascination for relics runs in the family.

I ended up buying the digital downloads but I still think the feeling of holding the physical old discs in my hand can't be replaced. If only I wasn't limited by space and my tendency to hoard things! That's really awesome you can still play and physically enjoy your old music too!
