I have no problem with with some smells being strong. I burn incense a lot during the harvest season here to cover up the manure smell in the air. However disinfectants are so much worse than Nag Champa or Sandalwood.

Oh yeah I can see that. Some smells are just horrifically worse than others.
I can handle a massive amount of fragrant incense but any high amount of bleach or peroxide is like "stop, no, do not like, flee!"

Diesel isn't the "oh shit oh fuck" smell gasoline is especially as it's combustible instead of flammable, but it's like you're smelling heating oil and it isn't pleasant when you're smelling it.

I've only used scents in my car to cover up the time I spilt fluids in the engine bay while working on it recently, so I'm not inhaling nothing but #2 diesel odor when I drive.
