i kind of feel like the recent surge of metal gear rising stuff is indicative of everyone's disdain for the current state of the media, huge corporations, and government. this is particularly convincing because of everyone fucking loving senator armstrong's no-bullshit attitude and desire for actual freedom.
@beardalaxy that's exactly why plus the great portrayal of a patriot that you'd normally expect to be used to make fun of said people (though in some ways it is but people can see it is cool)
