@waifu @milk please don't use a landfill as a standard of comparison..
@hakui @milk ok but people don't live in places like this one do they, i mean normal people
@waifu @milk well not necessarily that fancy of furniture but things are stored properly and trash are disposed of

@coyote @hakui @waifu @milk i've got cables and music equipment fucking everywhere, use them all frequently enough to not put them in storage. also a lot of blankets in a pile next to my bed because sometimes i wake up cold and sometimes i wake up sweating.

some people don't have to cram everything they own into one room, the photo of the clean room probably has an office for computer stuff and a living room for their tv, couch, etc. i just have one room, so of course it's going to be a little cluttered.

@beardalaxy @coyote @waifu @milk there's a difference between "a little cluttered" and "empty food and drink containers strewn across every surface"
@hakui @beardalaxy @milk @waifu we moved on from that tho... Now it was "empty room" vs "a bit untidy room" not "nasty neet room with trash everywhere" vs. "empty room"
@hakui @beardalaxy @coyote @milk @waifu I have a room serving several purposes, some floorspace on the fringes is a bit cluttered but there's very clear and clean thoroughfare through the center of the space such that I never need to step over any garbage or storage to get to anything on a regular basis. Hell, it'd probably be wheelchair accessible in its current state.

I'm genuinely confused when I see people stepping over empty food and drink containers as if it's a regular routine for them to do anything in their living space. It never has anything to do with a shortage of space either, the clips like this always show a living space that could shove most of the debris into like 3 garbage bags to pile in a corner. There's clutter and then there's bomb site.
