@lebronjames75 just because federal minimum wage is still that low doesn't mean companies are actually paying that. The lowest paying job I've had since 2013 was dollar tree which started at 7.35 and ended at 9.25. That was over the course of like 2 years, I wouldn't be surprised if they're paying a little bit more now. Most places have starting wages of AT LEAST $10/hr and it is trending more towards $15. My buddy is making $20/hr working at a gas station.
Since nobody actually wants to work, wages are increasing to make it more enticing. If you're an actually hard worker you'll quickly make your way up the food chain too.
The situation we're in definitely isn't good, but I don't know of anywhere that has a starting pay of minimum wage. If they exist, it's likely just really small businesses employing moms and minors.
