Mods broked my Fallout 4 saves. :lain_sad: Hoping I can find which one(s) are the issues, and it's not permanent. I wish mod authors specified optimal load order, and actually updated their stuff. If your mod affects a players ability to SAVE then it shouldn't even be up. That's unforgivably game-breaking.

t. Guy new to using mods.
@RehnSturm256 You should usually only install a couple at a time, start up and see if it runs and then continue.
And try not to have any mods that do the same thing.
@SnugSmug people say to start a new game completely with certain mods, so how can I troubleshoot mods one at a time if I have to start a new game? Or DO I have to? :anime_think:

@RehnSturm256 @SnugSmug honestly dude I just install a shit load of mods, start my game, and if I run into issues I disable ones I think could be causing it until I find the one that is.

Introducing new mods rarely messes stuff up though and if it does they'll usually say so in the description. Taking away mods can be a lot more of a problem because your save might depend on them being there. I couldn't swap out my camera mod mid playthrough for instance.

@beardalaxy @SnugSmug yeah, I added so many that going one by one was gonna take more time than just disabling them all and starting from scratch, lol.

Too bad, too, because I found a really good balance of mods that had no issues at until I started on a downloading spree. I got too excited... XD

It's funny how mods that drops tons of enemies all over the map doesn't break my game, but changing one little location can.
