@Yakotarun in a shellnut i do something like this i make a circle to begin with, then a line going down to have an idea on which direction the face is facing, and then i just shape the cheeks and stuff i hope that made sense lmao
@Yakotarun its just practice i guess, i honestly have no idea how to explain these uh anime styled cheeks, or jaw in general lol id say just exaggerate depending on what you want to make, like if u want something uhhhh i dunno, cute then make it round and soft and stuff
@Nanakoko maybe, just maybe this will turn out to be... something.... the left picture is for the pose reference and above references of Konata, because i want to draw her in that position
2-3 hours... just for trying to guess the basic pose...
@Yakotarun@Nanakoko I think it's fine to copy other work when you are just starting, as long as you give credit and you aren't trying to pass it off as your own piece and selling it.
@beardalaxy@Yakotarun theres a difference between copying and studying a drawing imo when copying you're basically just tracing the work hoping to gain something by drawing what you're seeing when studying, you're always thinking things like "how did the artist make this?", and attempt to do the same thing, not by copying what you're seeing, but by looking at it and then replicating it using what you have noticed i hope that made sense lol
