I'm just now rediscovering Lacuna Coil. They've got a very Silent Hill kind of vibe to their music. Not in a way you'd immediately pick up on if you didn't listen to silent hill music regularly, but little bits and pieces really remind me of it and I am a huge fan of the male backing vocals, they make the female lead sound a lot darker and set the mood super well.
This one really exemplifies what I mean about the silent hill similarity. If somebody told me this was a silent hill opening for a new silent hill game I would totally believe them.
