@Coyote it's not surprising if you match this graph with the climbing divorce rate.
a lot of people don't want to get married because it's a huge commitment that has a 50% chance of ending and ruining your life for at least the next few years.
@beardalaxy The article shows divorce rate dropping to 1970 levels (not 1960 yet) but the two don't tell a full story on their own, they interplay.

@Coyote from what I can tell that's just people staying together for longer. Which is great, but I don't know anyone that's been divorced within a year of them getting married.
It would be better to get divorced sooner, all things considered.
