What's happening to KF is not just happening to the forum, it's far bigger than you or any of us. I'm sure you just want to be left alone with your insular drawn-porn masturbation group until you inevitably fall over without leaving a legacy. So you bend over or, worse, you turn against those around you so you don't get caught in the crossfire. It's normal, selfish human behaviour and it's not what anyone is judging. There are other instances that disallow it (although they usually disallow porn too so idk how much that matters to you). I don't know why you're all choosing poast if it doesn't align with what your home website does. As Graf always says, just start your own instance. It's really easy and you can just get a cheap domain (from porkbun for instance) and use free hosting through oracle for a single person instance. Use fediverse.express. I did it and I've never done any web hosting stuff before so it's pretty dang easy.
Also graf's avi is literally a loli so idk what you guys are doing on poast besides just being a general nuisance. Just start your own instance and block people who post things you don't like. You're not on a centralized forum, you're in a place where there are different instances with different types of people and different rules. If you don't like that, then the fediverse (particularly this part of it) just isn't for you. Do what big instances do and start a big blacklist or something.
Or you can stay in a perpetual state of being upset at things that offend you that do not actually harm anyone. We had a problem with people posting illegal shit earlier this year and we locked registration due to it so we could get rid of the egregious people without any joining. It's why I offered to be a mod, because before it was JUST matrix and he couldn't deal with the influx of glowies we were getting all by himself. We overhauled the rules and got more specific with what we wanted to stay off the site.
Matrix is a friendly guy that doesn't like to get involved in any drama with anyone whenever possible, he's easy to get along with and a pretty easygoing dude. Sometimes he is a tangential victim of circumstance and that's really it.
