@lamp As long as the drawing isn't of a real person it's a fictional thing. Generally though, not a super big fan and I think it's disgusting. But it doesn't hurt anyone, so I can't really complain.

@Elizafox Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either; my reaction to lolicon is usually like "🤨". I guess it's kinda like disgust, but it's not the kind that makes me want to block or hate them, I'd just think it's weird and let them be. And I didn't understand why others aren't like this, but it seems the hatred often comes from those who have experienced abuse, which makes sense I guess.

@lamp I was abused. But I also know that influences my thoughts.

Therapy has helped me come to terms with this a lot.

like, let's talk fictional first.

i like the thought of characters being raped/the character i play as being raped. that's the abuse part.

and then there are people who simply like kids-looking characters, or just kids, they don't necessarily like them being abused. that's the child part

and then the crossing of two... the thought of kids being abused has two sides to it

one side is corrupting innocence, but that one doesn't count as fucked up in my opinion, because characters who are canonically adults can be portrayed as childish or innocent too, and then abused*

the other side is the implication of raping kids, which IS fucked up. why? because if it's the thought that it's morally bad to do such thing that turns them on, it's bad imo. which lemme give another example for:
the thought of being raped/etc and enjoying the process v.s. the fact that raping people is bad

*realistically, imo if you abuse innocence irl you should be charged too, or simply just abusing people. it's not better or worse if it's a kid or not
*and then there's a character that i like very much, whose characteristic is actually a "loli" that doesn't have innocence, and quite literally has tons of mental traumas that lead to abusing people (and you, the player, as a part of the story) (abusing, sexually or not), you can say the contrast is funny and amusing
*i dont like abusing innocence in fictions either way, tho i dont find it fucked up

tl;dr if u like to look at loli stuff just for the fact that there are kids being raped in them ur fucked up, but if you just happen to like kids AND (C)NC that's not fucked up
