if that's the case then i think everyone in the entertainment industry is a fake person, all of them play a character for the entertainment of their audience
@Boomerman @rlier23 @YeetLibs you realize that we are at LEAST decades off from actually being able to replicate something even close to a human being in real time or anywhere close? It takes AI like a thousand simulated years to learn how to play Mario at a basic level. That's days of straight processing. A shitty 512x512 image takes 30+ seconds even on really powerful hardware, and that's only after it's been trained on a countless amount of images.
You won't be able to do anything live with AI for a looooong time. By the time we get to that point, humans will have changed to the point it won't matter, the only reason to see a live AI show will be the novelty.
As it stands, there needs to be a lot of human work to go into doing something even pre-recorded like Hatsune Miku. She's considered an instrument more than an AI. You could probably create a vtuber with AI TTS and animation the model manually, but it would likely take days if not weeks to make a 10 minute video that seemed realistic enough.
I still maintain that AI is no good on itself beyond novelty. It's up to humans to make good use of it.
