I’d put Carter in the anti-war camp, but he was also terrible; the worst up until Former Vice President Biden.
In every administration (including Trump/Obama/Bush(both)) there are fucking psycho idiots in high military ranks that thing the world could survive a nuclear war intact. You just need “assured destruction,” a term used by (I think?) a previous Sec of Defense .. which morphed into “mutually assured”
The lowest yield tactical nuclear weapon that either the US or the Ruskies posses has a higher yield than the Beirut chemical warehouse explosions a few years back. That one the Russian submarine captain almost used in the Cuban missile crisis would have literally destroyed that US aircraft carrier and all the ships in the fleet.

@djsumdog @icedquinn @itzpaquet @Moon @chjara a huge reason why I voted for Trump in the first place was because I wanted to avoid war. That's one of the most important issues to me. I was appreciative of the fact that he was trying to get good relationships with countries we have historically not had good relationships with.
