@greentext even though I definitely wouldn't kill myself, owning a handgun I have felt even less likely to do it. It's a weird assurance, I wonder if this is a studied phenomenon.

@Corfiot @greentext I can't think of any specific examples but I'd say it happens from time to time.
@beardalaxy @greentext i would imagine then that having the whole thing set up and ready to go anytime you want gives you a measure of control, which is comforting and therefore clears your mind up a bit and you can look at the situation more calmly.
