@dommymommy the two people i immediately think of when i'm asked what my favorite art is are Alke and Alphonse. the former's art is so innocent and playful, and the latter's is very painterly and just has this excellent composition to it. don't go looking them up unless you're looking for loli stuff though lol.

i am also a fan of Beksinski, having learned about him only recently, but his art is truly haunting.

i like Bill Stoneham's art as well, who is mostly known for "The Hands Resist Him," a so-called haunted painting. there's something about his artwork that is kind of nostalgic. the one here is called "Resistance at the Threshold" and shows the doll and the boy but as an old man.
