@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club that is interesting what are you using for that?
@fuggy Wallpaper Engine. You buy it on Steam and can send wallpapers to your phone.
@fuggy yeah i even stay away from video ones, they use up more system resources. it doesn't connect to the steam account, i think it goes over the network you're on because it can recognize a phone nearby. then you just send wallpapers you've downloaded on your PC to your phone through the program.
but yeah you can send anything over, and there are plenty of options to so that you can save battery, like converting it from a dynamic scene to a lower quality 15fps video basically.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club with hardware decoding shouldn't be too bad only like 2% CPU
@fuggy it's gpu it takes up, i think it might load the entire video into memory or something like that. idk how it works though i just know it requires more to run it that way.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club You can make it pause when you open full screen aplications
@fuggy oh yeah i know. i'd just rather not have my PC doing a whole lot of stuff if i'm not doing a whole lot of stuff on it, ya know?
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club oh interesting I assume it connects to steam account and checks? Can all of the wallpapers from the desktop app be used? Besides the .exe ones which I avoided anyway
