@beardalaxy That’s the type 3 or something. There are people that see themselves as like, a spirit inhabiting the character, and there are some that view it as an action figure dancing around for their amusement. The former will never understand the latter.
@WashedOutGundamPilot the way i see it is that i create a character. it's no different from creating a character for a story that you're writing and then really liking that character. i have plenty of male and female characters i've written that i really like that i feel are kind of cool extensions of me. but they aren't me, they are characters that i created that carry a little bit of my personality, given that i made them.
some people just have difficulty separating reality from fiction or fantasy.
@beardalaxy my self stops at my forehead. If I do write characters I think of it like a synthesized partition, a virtual machine where I can control its inputs and outputs.
