@charliebrownau yeah i was using linux on my laptop before and it was being a little shit and not recognizing my gpu for games so i'm going back to windows on it.
What is your GPU ?
Did you ask for help ?
Do you actually want to be free from cloud, corporations and DRM ?
@charliebrownau it's an AMD laptop gpu, tried doing DRI Prime and everything but the only way to get games to recognize it seems to be just straight up disabling integrated graphics from the bios, and I'm not even sure I can do that (nor would I want to, it would just use more power). I have tried pretty much everything and searched for it a lot. Nothing worked.
On top of that I can't figure out how to do picom stuff for colorblindness, no idea what's going on there and even the guy who made the filter couldn't figure it out.
Linux is probably fine for most use cases but not for mine xD it hates me.

@charliebrownau my PC is running a 2080ti lol, i'm just trying to play civ on my laptop and getting like 20fps on minimum settings because it's trying to use the integrated processor of a mobile 4th gen i5. i'm not gonna' lug a fucking optiplex and a monitor to work xD
@charliebrownau yeah but i barely use it tbh, windows does what i need it to and does it more smoothly.
