I've come across more shit like that over there than in Baraag, those fuckers always find a way to disguise their account, but most of the time manage to fail because either some minor details or sheer stupidity. I blocked a fuckton on my Pleroma instance and brought the Blocklist over here. Can't bother to report them, thou, Pawoo won't do anything about it
@captain_arepa @fuggy @MercurialBlack @dwite39@pawoo.net that period of time may have been because pawoo actually got its domain frozen for hosting illegal content. but it's unknown whether that was CP or just uncensored nudity considering it's based in japan. the site was still accessible, but the domain was dead. i can imagine that would come with some strange federation issues.
i would highly recommend people who are currently on pawoo and are not just coomer retards to go to a different instance. if they want art, baraag is a good place to go typically but they are not federating right now so maybe not the best thing to transition to currently, but having another spot to go to then transferring everything over once they're in full operation could be good.

Perhaps you can host it though? If it wasn't the case I think Pixiv would be shut down now their is no effort to remove it, hell there is even a tag for it. I really wish more people in Japan care about their backwards censorship laws, it's a waste of police resources. But I can't do shit so whatever only bitch and whine about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i really don't know about their censorship laws but perhaps it's become less criminalized and only really gets invoked if there are other issues going on. who knows, i don't live there and don't know anything about the way their legal system works. maybe it only applies to sold products or something?
