@cjd @kaede although, fedi indeed does have a bunch of pedo instances, but child porn is rare. If you don't count lolicon as child porn, which you probably shouldn't.
CP is so despised, most just block instances that allow it on sight and then report it to hosting and domain providers. These servers really don't live long.

@newt @kaede@ilyamikcoder.com @cjd yeah this is probably JUST talking about loli stuff, i'd be willing to bet. even when GLC had a problem with a bunch of pedos coming over we never had anyone actually post CP. i've only (unfortunately) seen it once and it was from i think mstdn.jp. i don't think it's a problem for the vast majority of people unless they're *specifically* looking for it.
unless it's on instances that block us, which there are plenty of. maybe there's a legion of people posting CP on some mastodon server that blocks GLC and we'll never know 
this is especially stunning coming after twitter and meta's actual CP problems that went and still go criminally underreported.
@beardalaxy @newt @kaede @cjd It is. Most of the supposed cp mostly refers to loli content and of that such. infact there's an entire section dedicated to japan itself, completely unrelated to the fediverse or mastodon.
I'd say that the entire article in general is very skewd and disingenuous. the entire thesis is wrong on the assumption that mastodon supposedly "enables" cp, which is absurd. Both on it's logically unsound and inapplicable to mastodon.
