Hot Wheels Unleashed is on gamepass so I thought I'd give it a try. The difficulty is completely broken. Easy is boringly easy and "medium" is "fuck you the computer cheats now".
So I'm either bored or raging while playing and... I think that just kills it for me. It's a shame. The tracks are really cool, especially the longer ones that play with gravity and such. The cars are fun because they look like hot wheels. Probably it'd be fun to race against actual people, but I'd like a single player mode that's a little more even.
Oh well, gamepass is actually really good at the 'full game demo' slot I put it into. Not buying this game just paid for like 2-3 months of gamepass.

@gruyere I didn't buy it either but I had a really fun time with it. Played on normal mode. There were definitely times where I got pretty pissed at the totally busted AI. Most of the time though I was able to clutch it out. The actual gameplay is REALLY good, one of the better racing games I've played.
My other favorites are the SEGA All Stars games, the Hot Pursuit remake, Mario Kart 8, F-Zero X/GX, Fast Racing Neo/RMX, ballisticNG, and WipEout Omega Collection.
@beardalaxy yeah, I really liked balancing the boost and drift and the way each car felt pretty different. The tracks were fun and creative.
I really want something like Burnout Paradise to come back. That’s one of my favorite racers.
