So, all the stuff I prepared for today's D&D session last night went COMPLETELY UNUSED and the party is now headed in a COMPLETELY opposite direction xD I'll be able to use all of it later but none of it happened today.
Why?
They decided to pull every card left in the deck of many things, and one of the party members got yeeted from existence 
That has some other cool implications on the story though so I'm not too mad. The plot has already shifted quite a bit now and I'm interested to see where it goes!
That was one of the more fun and engaging sessions my players have had in a long time, though. It felt a lot more like when we first started. I felt like I was on top of the explanations of things instead of just going through motions. Some sort of magic in the air. Could be that I've been getting more sleep recently xD
@MK2boogaloo that's good to hear! it can be a great time. it can be pretty hard to build up party cohesion at first, but give it some time and a few quests and that will change! everyone starts to settle into their roles.

@Giganova8 @MK2boogaloo ahhhh yes I see lol, kero you may have to dial back the chaos a bit xD just because you play a rogue doesn't mean you have to be doing shady things all the time! That can start leading to the opposite of party cohesion and kind of tear stuff apart.
In my second group, I've got 2 players that are super into the game and story, and 2 players that are just really hard to wrangle. They stole a guy's shoes and then killed some guards and that's already going pretty punished, and I can tell the other party members who are trying to be good guys aren't a big fan of it.
If you keep going off on your own and doing shady things I wouldn't be surprised if you run into a bit more trouble than you bargained for! Perhaps even death, which happened to one of said troublemakers in my campaign! So be careful ;)
Which was a good thing since that trail would have meant good sir kerok being penetrated be a dagger.
@Groomschild @MK2boogaloo @Giganova8 that actually happened to someone in the last campaign I played in lol xD thankfully he was a moon druid and just turned into a giant snake and that was the end of that xD
