@LittleTom it's a myth that Nintendo removed it because it was offensive. They removed it because they have a strict "no religion" policy and they were told it had religious chanting. It was actually removed before the game even shipped out but they had already made so many carts it got stuck on the 1.0 versions.
@beardalaxy @LittleTom I believe its because the voice sampling used for the fire temple was from other media and they didnt want any copyright trouble
@MiaElk @LittleTom nope it was from a CD full of samples that have been used in many Nintendo and plenty of other games
I'm lucky my hand me down copy was a gold cart. That's how I always knew the game growing up.
