@beardalaxy yeah why would they do that? I think most Americans would accept German rule since they're related by blood, unlike the Injuns. I also don't know why they made Japonica as well since this is a map from WW1.
Nearly a third of people in America spoke German at that time too. It would have likely been a second national language if WW1/2 hadn't shamed Germans into no longer speaking it.
@beardalaxy@djsumdog my friend said that Midwest were pretty much new Prussia since a lot of Germans settled down there in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
