Beard dreams
A bunch of people, including myself, went to a private resort for a dating reality show. Basically put an equal amount of girls and guys in a place and see what happens. There were these challenges that you and a partner had to compete in and at the end, everyone would vote for who they thought the best couple was. I was with a random girl each time and never gelled well with any of them. My best friend, though (who wasn't married in the dream), seemed like he had a super good thing going with a girl because they won every single vote. I even accidentally eavesdropped on them one time and I could tell they had a thing going.
One day though it seemed like they had broken it off. Instead, she came to me and I asked why, because they seemed like such a good couple. She immediately came clean and told me that she was actually a robot. She could transform to look like not just a human, but anything. I kind of convinced her to stay in her natural robotic form when the two of us were alone, and we actually did do one of the challenges together (but lost). Ultimately, it seemed like it was a more "friends with benefits" kind of thing and by the end of the show's season, she told me it wasn't gonna work out.
However, in a weird twist, I had somehow actually earned the most points out of anyone from the individual side of challenges. There was a store at the very end we could spend these points on that had a whole bunch of stuff. Then I saw it, the same exact bot that she was. I immediately bought it and set it up, and since these bots started from a clean slate and learned from you I knew I'd be compatible with this new version. The funny part is that I set her appearance to be a black haired foxgirl lmao xD with violet eyes.
I took her home, which was a big mansion with a weird raft you could travel down a river with, and bought some tickets for a concert for our first date.
That's when the dream ended. Kind of weird to think it was such a long dream, long enough for me to build feelings and attachment to someone not only fabricated in a real-world sense, but also within the context of the dream. I only slept for like 2 hours in the time this dream occurred but it felt like soooo much longer in the dream.
So now I'm sad, because it feels like I genuinely lost a connection with someone I loved. It's really freaky how your brain can do that to you. This happens to me fairly often too, not the same dream but a recurring theme of having a girl I'm romantically involved with for long enough to get attached, then I wake to cruel reality. It's like every one or two months.
