The Switch is really showing its age. I've got an over clock on and TotK still lags frequently. There are some graphical limitations that are pretty glaring as well, such as waterfalls being solid.

@beardalaxy I guess Nintendo just wants you to play their games on emulators now because they are a blurry laggy mess on actual Nintendo hardware.
Word is Microsoft is waiting for someone to make an emulator for S and X because they sure as hell aren't making any games for them.
@flappypaddle @beardalaxy lol sometimes I forget that Microsoft even makes a game console. 😂
Or at least a decent PS1 emulator so they'd have some games.

@flappypaddle @caekislove the series s is actually a really good prospect for the money. You get a pretty capable emulation box, the ability to play new and old Xbox games, and a 4k Blu ray player. It's not super powerful but I can see why it would be pretty nice to have over other machines.

@beardalaxy @flappypaddle Is that the high end model? I was actually going to buy one to play Yakuza Like A Dragon when it came out, but they were all sold out.

@caekislove @flappypaddle nope that's the lower end one. it's less than $300 which is why i said it's a good value, especially if you don't mind not having ray tracing or resolutions above 1080p (i don't).
