@Yellow_Heart @M_39 BTW Centaur, I wanted to tell you, I'm thinking of going back to church (a real Christian church, not the New Age one I mentioned that I occasionally go to the past few years). Can't decide between Catholicism (the religion I grew up in, and that my family goes to) or Evangelical (I went to an Evangelical church once and liked it a lot better). What do you think?

Dont go to a catholic Church. they’ll teach you odd things and force you to do traditions that do nothing for you. I can go on more if you like. like modern Catholicism just got worse then the old one, they just teach false weird shit now. and the pope got bought out by someone and he just says bullshit.

Evangelicals are fine. I have nothing against them and I dont know them well. so as long as its not catholism or some weird new age shit. you’ll be fine my man.

and read “soren kierkegaard” he gives good insights on buliding a interpersonal relationship with God. thats the most important thing ever. Catholics build a speration between you and God. by making you go through everything with the church and priests.

God wants to be your friend.

But its more about the feeling, whatever will get you closer to God. sometimes faith is just forcing yourself into believing and casting all doubts aside.

Being a Christian you have to be unreasonable. take the leap of faith my friend.

@M_39 @redneonglow honestly maybe look for a lay back church to get yourself back into things. maybe a lutheran or fuckling non-non denominational church if any of those are in your area.

I went to a local non-denominational church once and was really happy with the diversity of people there and their dedication to Christianity, both of which were lacking in the Catholic church I grew up going to.
