@GrungeQueef @haberdasher @Hoss so there are actually 2 versions of the story behind the song.

One is from MJ himself, who said the song was inspired by a lot of groupies in the Jackson 5 era who would claim that their unborn children were his older brothers' frequently. This is a pretty common thing for women to do and it happens to plenty of artists. Hell, it happens to normal dudes with chicks who aren't even pregnant so that they can attempt to hold them hostage. Girls will fake pregnancy tests and shit.

Later, his biographer would tell a different story, that allegedly MJ didn't want to talk about himself and I can see why. He got a lot of letters from a woman making these claims that she had a kid that was his, and it eventually escalated to the point where she sent him a gun and told him to kill himself after she killed herself and the kid so they could all be together in the afterlife. She later was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

As a musician, I can attest to not always wanting to talk about the subjects of my songs in full detail and I've definitely lied about them before when certain people have asked. Some of my songs I've never told anyone what they mean, even when asked. I don't know if that story is true or not, but I can see how it could be, especially when you consider similar things have happened to other artists like Bjork being sent a bomb. Or, in the same vein, guys singing Polly by Nirvana as they raped a girl. There are some sick people out there.

So, either the song isn't about MJ himself, or it is but the subject was an insane woman. It could be about both, a song inspired by the women his brothers encountered and set into motion by a psycho.

I feel like MJ was jewed pretty much his whole life, his death, and even after his death. Hell, he straight up named the jew while talking/singing about it. He was arguably the most famous musician of all time and everyone wanted a cut of it. They still try to profit off of him to this day.
