@CentaurBreeder

I sent you a message today to your boks.moe account. Did you get it?
@redneonglow oh send it to me on here if you can. or at @Mannelig. I deleted my boks account.
@redneonglow @Mannelig I am no longer the co-owner of boks.moe I gave up my leadership position and ownership.

I have nothing to do with the instance. the instance itsself is fine and I have no problems with the admins. I just no longer wished to post on that account and wanted to move elsewhere.
@CentaurBreeder @Mannelig Oh OK.

I just wanted to say that I went to the non-denominational church today and I was really happy to be back with Jesus!
@redneonglow @Mannelig Omg thats amazing to hear man! I hope you are liking the Church. :blobheart:

>and I was really happy to be back with Jesus!

thats really good man!! he's more then happy to have you back.
@CentaurBreeder @Mannelig My parents are still trying to get me to go back to being a Catholic. But I just like the non-denominational church so much better, it's something I can understand and connect with, as opposed to something surreal like Catholicism. Plus, as you said, Catholic teachings can be weird.
@redneonglow @Mannelig

>My parents are still trying to get me to go back to being a Catholic.

yeah thats just like a catholic thing, they believe only the catholic church is correct.

>But I just like the non-denominational church so much better, it's something I can understand and connect with

thats what really matters. is if you have a connection with God. I Feel like too many people get hooked up on how they should worship and follow God that it leads to them not actually doing anything, which is worst then anything,.

but since you are showing an active interest in God he will help and lead you to the truth. he cares about you more then you could ever understand.

>Plus, as you said, Catholic teachings can be weird.

yeah at least in my opinion. they'll ask you and make you do a lot of things that just dont matter at the end of the day. they may please God that you're putting in extra work but it doesnt truley matter.

just kept with faith. develop a personal relationship with God and make sure to pray often.

thank you for coming and talking to me. im happy you are getting back into a life with Jesus. but dont rely entirely on me, I am still learning all of this as well. so I am not some great scholar. I am just a idiot believer with a lot of books and people I talk to about christian. so please do go and try to talk to other Christians. there is so much to learn.

I hope God gives you a heart that loves him and a will to follow God as well as the drive to Make it till the end with faith. amen.
@CentaurBreeder @Mannelig I'm not really a scholar either. Between my former Catholic pastor who was big on psychology and proto-wokeism, my time with the New Age movement, and just in general being away from Christianity for so long, I've forgotten most of the Bible. I really have to start reading it again, and listening to Christian podcasts.
@redneonglow @Mannelig

< I've forgotten most of the Bible. I really have to start reading it again,

same friend, I need to as well. expect I cant for the life of me read and understand old English. so I am gonna try and find a translation of more contemporary English

@CentaurBreeder @redneonglow @Mannelig the most recent version was like 2011. it's probably the easiest to read without being like, braindead.

Follow

@CentaurBreeder @redneonglow @Mannelig i'm partial to kjv but that's just because that's what i read for 16 years

@beardalaxy @beardalaxy @redneonglow @Mannelig huh. I read the NIV when I Was like 13.

ever since then I have tried to read KJV but literally I just cant get anything from it.

@CentaurBreeder @redneonglow @Mannelig you really gotta use the annotations to understand what's going on sometimes lol

Try the Douay-Rheims. It's the Catholic version contemporary with the KJV so it has the same beautiful language
